City of Paxton City Council met Dec. 19.

The special meeting of the Paxton City Council was held on Thursday, December 19, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at City Hall.
Mayor Ingold called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m.
Roll call showed the following aldermen in attendance: Geiken, Johnson Anderson, Pacey, Satterlee, and Withers. Alderman Evans and Wilson were absent. Also, in attendance were: Mayor Bill Ingold, Treasurer/Comptroller Tammy Jensen, City Attorney Marc Miller, and members of the audience and press.
City Attorney Miller explained that the publication of this resolution needed to happen quicker than it did, so the Council needs to approve a new resolution.
Alderman Geiken made a motion to APPROVE RESOLUTION 19-25 A RESOLUTION RE LIBRARY MAINTENANCE TAX. Alderman Johnson Anderson seconded the motion. Roll Call: ayes – Alderman Geiken, Johnson Anderson, Pacey, Satterlee, and Withers. All ayes, motion carried.
At 6:02 p.m. Alderman Withers made a motion to adjourn tonight’s special meeting of the Mayor and City Council. Alderman Pacey seconded the motion. All ayes - motion carried on a voice vote.
