Report: Fisher spent $10,199 per student in 2017-18

Spending per pupil at Fisher Community Unit School District 1 is up 1.3 percent from five years ago, according to a Chambana Sun analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2017-18 report card shows the Champaign County school district spent $10,064 per pupil in 2013-14. It spent $10,199 in 2017-18.

The district saw its enrollment rise over the same period, from 605 to 622.

Fisher's spending in 2017-18 was 23.5 percent lower than the state average of $13,337.
