The village of Thomasboro Board met April 4 to vote on approving the 2016-17 village budget.
The board was also expected to discuss issuing a request for proposals for waste collection and renting portable toilets for West Side Park. Adjusting Thomasboro Police Chief Keith Willis' salary was also on the agenda.
The board heard committee reports on safety, personnel, water, sewer, streets, parks, and public health.
The Thomasboro board members are Anthony Grilo, Kyle Henegar, Anna Martin, Dustin Rhodes, Jeff Robertson and Mickey Wilson.
