Urbana commission to consider revised requirements for new hires

The Urbana Civil Service Commission will consider a string of revisions to several city positions during a special meeting today at the Urbana City Building.

The commission will consider changes to the job descriptions for Planner I and Planner II, and discuss approving passing scores for entry-level police officers, animal control officers, and building inspectors.

The commission will also review a request to post a want ad internally for an Economic Development Specialist.

The meeting is scheduled for 4 p.m. at 400 S. Vine St.
