Bacon and Van Buskirk Glass will close one southbound lane of State Street between Church Street and Park Avenue starting March 12, according to a statement released Mar. 11. The closure is planned to allow window work at 222 N. State Street and is expected to last until March 16, weather permitting.

The temporary lane reduction will affect southbound traffic in the area, which will be limited to one lane during the construction period. Drivers are advised to use caution and plan for possible delays while traveling through this section of State Street.

The work is part of ongoing maintenance efforts aimed at improving building infrastructure along the corridor. No additional background information was provided regarding further impacts or detours related to the project.

The closure is scheduled to end on March 16, but could be extended if weather conditions delay completion.
