Rep. Mary Miller, who serves Illinois’ 15th district in the U.S. Congress, recently shared a series of posts on her official social media account reflecting on faith, tradition, and national identity.

On August 15, 2025, Miller posted: “HISTORIC! Pray for peace.”

The following day, August 16, she outlined her perspective on building a strong nation with a message that read: “The recipe for a strong Godly nation is simple: Go to church. Get married. Have kids. Build a family. Embrace tradition. Reject modernity.”

On August 17, Miller cited scripture in her post: “He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?” – Micah 6:8

Mary Miller began representing Illinois’ 15th congressional district in 2021 after succeeding John Shimkus. In the 2022 general election, she won against Paul Lange with over 71% of the vote; in the previous cycle in 2020, she secured victory over Erika Weaver with more than 73% of ballots cast.
