Rep. Mary Miller, a U.S. Congresswoman representing Illinois’ 15th district, posted a series of statements on social media on September 5, 2025, addressing immigration policy and federal funding for higher education.

In her first post at 10:15 a.m., Miller announced an upcoming television appearance: ” I’m about to join @MorningsMaria on @FoxBusiness. Don’t miss it! https://t.co/Pl6ovACGcP”.

Later that day at 12:25 p.m., Miller criticized the use of taxpayer funds for college tuition for undocumented immigrants in Illinois, writing: “Illinois taxpayers should NEVER be forced to fund college for illegal aliens. Thank God President Trump’s DOJ is fighting back to stop Pritzker’s America Last agenda and defend the rule of law! https://t.co/NbGqsuGJTc”.

At 4:23 p.m., she commented on the Biden administration’s immigration policies, stating: “The Biden admin advertised and enabled the invasion of our country. In the process, they lost track of hundreds of thousands of children and handed many over to traffickers. Democrats look the other way, but President Trump will make sure these children are rescued!! https://t.co/x8kZ01b6oZ”.

Miller has served in Congress since replacing John Shimkus in 2021 as representative for Illinois’ 15th district. She was elected after defeating Paul Lange in the 2022 general election with over 71% of the vote and Erika Weaver in 2020 with more than 73% support from her constituents.
