Rep. Mary Miller, a U.S. Congresswoman representing Illinois’ 15th district, recently addressed several national issues in a series of posts on her social media account.
On August 21, 2025, Miller expressed concern about the participation of transgender women in women’s sports in Illinois schools. She stated, “Illinois schools continue to violate federal law by letting biological men compete in women’s sports. Parents are right to be furious! It won’t stop until consequences are enforced.”
In another post dated August 22, 2025, Miller commented on a recent action by Secretary Rubio, writing, “This action will prevent tragedies and save lives. Thank you, @SecRubio!”
Later that same day, she highlighted economic developments under former President Trump’s administration: “President Trump’s America First agenda is fueling an unprecedented surge in manufacturing investment and job creation. Factories are reopening, jobs are returning, and America is winning again! “
Miller has represented Illinois’ 15th district since replacing John Shimkus in 2021. In previous elections, she defeated Erika Weaver in 2020 with over 73% of the vote and Paul Lange in 2022 with more than 71% support.
