Rep. Mary Miller, U.S. Congresswoman representing Illinois’ 15th district, posted a series of updates on her social media accounts between January 20 and January 21, 2026. The posts ranged from congratulatory remarks to commentary on national energy policy.
On January 20, Miller offered congratulations to the Second Lady and Vice President: “Wonderful news!! Congratulations to our @SLOTUS and @VP. Growing a family is one of life’s greatest blessings.”
Later that day, she commented on her return to Capitol Hill: “Great to be back on Capitol Hill! It’s always an honor to preside over the House floor as we continue to deliver results for the people of Illinois’ 15th District. “
On January 21, Miller addressed energy policy in a post critical of wind power: “Wind ‘farms’ destroy land, raise costs, and weaken our national security.
Thanks to President Trump, we are NO LONGER dependent on China-made wind turbines and have rejected the left’s green bad deal.
We’re UNLEASHING American oil, gas, and nuclear energy at levels never seen”.
Mary Miller has represented Illinois’ 15th congressional district since replacing John Shimkus in 2021. She secured her seat by defeating Paul Lange in the 2022 general election with over 71% of the vote and previously defeated Erika Weaver in the 2020 general election with more than 73% support.
