Rep. Mary Miller, U.S. Congresswoman representing Illinois’ 15th district, has recently shared updates on her legislative efforts and recognitions through a series of posts on social media.
On January 21, 2026, Miller announced her recognition by a national pro-life organization, stating, “I’m honored to receive an A+ rating from @sbaprolife on the National Pro-Life Scorecard for 2025. I will ALWAYS stand for the most innocent among us and fight to protect the sanctity of life! Psalm 139:13-16”.
Later that day, she highlighted her legislative response to a recent executive order by former President Trump regarding housing policy. Miller wrote on January 21, “President Trump signed an executive order to stop Wall Street from buying up America’s single-family homes. I’m proud to introduce the American Family Housing Act to make President Trump’s policy permanent and restore the American Dream of homeownership. Let’s get it done!”
Continuing her focus on housing issues, Miller posted again on January 22 about her proposed legislation: “Young American families should not be competing against Wall Street for single-family homes. My American Family Housing Act will end corporate housing takeovers.”
Mary Miller began serving in Congress in 2021 after succeeding John Shimkus as representative of Illinois’ 15th district. She secured her seat by defeating Erika Weaver in the 2020 general election with over 73% of the vote and was re-elected in 2022 with more than 71% support against Paul Lange.
