Rep. Mary Miller, a U.S. Congresswoman representing Illinois’ 15th district, posted a series of tweets on January 18 and 19, 2026, addressing religious freedom and criticizing media figures.

On January 18, Miller shared a biblical passage from Romans, stating: “For although they knew God, they did not honor him as God or give thanks to Him, but they became futile in their thinking, and their foolish hearts were darkened. Claiming to be wise, they became fools.”

The following day, she commented on the First Amendment and criticized Don Lemon: “The First Amendment guarantees the free exercise of religion. It does not give leftist mobs the right to invade and disrupt churches.

Don Lemon is a so-called ‘journalist,’ desperate for relevance, and he proves his ignorance every time he opens his mouth.
