Prospect Avenue lane closure scheduled for March due to sidewalk work

One southbound lane of Prospect Avenue between Baytowne Drive and Marketview Drive will be closed starting Monday, March 9, through Saturday, March 14, 2026. The closure is to allow Mid Illinois Concrete to remove and replace the sidewalk next to 2029 N. Prospect. Work will take place daily from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., weather permitting. During this period, southbound traffic on Prospect Avenue in the affected area will be reduced to one lane.
