On Monday, June 16, the Neighborhood Services Department-Relations Division held a resource exchange event. The focus was on best practices for neighborhood engagement. John Ruffin, the Neighborhood Relations Manager, delivered a presentation covering topics such as effective meeting organization, planning and implementing neighborhood-based activities, and city resources available to support registered neighborhood groups in their efforts.

Debby Borg from the Timberline Valley South HOA was a guest speaker at the event. She shared insights on organizing successful neighborhood clean-up events. These NRD resource exchanges occur monthly to offer information pertinent to the city’s organized neighborhood groups. This initiative aims to foster active and engaged communities across the city.
