U.S. Representative Mary Miller, who serves Illinois’ 15th district in Congress, posted a series of messages on her official X account highlighting both international affairs and local events.
On August 8, 2025, Miller praised former President Donald Trump’s efforts in global diplomacy, stating: “President Trump is securing peace between nations when no one thought it was possible. There is no one more deserving of the Nobel Peace Prize!!”
The following day, August 9, 2025, Miller invited constituents to join her at the Illinois State Fair for Agriculture Day. She wrote: “Come along with me to the Illinois State Fair on Ag Day! From delicious food to livestock shows, we’re celebrating the backbone of Illinois and America — our farm families! WATCH: https://t.co/pVVkm0nGq2”
Later that same day, she shared another post containing two links without additional commentary: “https://t.co/GnxN053dCT https://t.co/8wk8MLpYH6” (August 9, 2025).
Miller has represented Illinois’ 15th district since replacing John Shimkus in 2021. In previous elections, she secured significant victories over her opponents; in the 2022 general election she defeated Paul Lange with over 71% of the vote and in 2020 won against Erika Weaver with nearly 74%.
