Rep. Mary Miller, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Illinois’ 15th district, posted a series of statements on her social media account on March 8 and 9, 2026, addressing issues related to national policy and congressional actions.

On March 8, Miller declared: “No more business as usual in Washington until we SAVE AMERICA.” Later that day, she commented on legislative efforts regarding Department of Homeland Security funding: “House Republicans have repeatedly PASSED DHS funding.

Hakeem Jeffries has repeatedly voted to BLOCK it—including funding for Coast Guard and TSA paychecks—and pressured House Democrats to do the same.

It’s all on the record. See for yourself:

Sanctuary states are exploiting a dangerous loophole in federal law.

I’m taking action in Congress to close it and ensure those entrusted with enforcing our laws are LEGAL! https://t.co/zvI0sZwjY6

Miller was first elected to Congress in 2020 after defeating Erika Weaver by a significant margin. She was re-elected in 2022 against Paul Lange. Born in Oak Park, Illinois in 1959 and currently residing in Oakland, Miller holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Eastern Illinois University. She succeeded John Shimkus as representative of Illinois’s 15th District beginning her tenure in 2021.
