Rep. Mary Miller, U.S. Congresswoman representing Illinois’ 15th district since 2021, shared a series of posts on April 1, 2026, addressing housing policy, constituent services, and law enforcement eligibility in Illinois.
In her first post at 14:13 UTC, Miller commented on the housing market: “Our next generation should have the opportunity to build a family in their own home. This starts by stopping large, greedy Wall Street corporations from purchasing single family homes.”
Later that day at 15:31 UTC, she highlighted her office’s recent efforts for constituents: “March was another month delivering results for Il-15. 381,041 returned to constituents. Need help with a federal agency? Contact my office today!”
At 19:02 UTC, Miller addressed state policy regarding law enforcement and immigration status: “JB Pritzker is exploiting a federal loophole that allowed an illegal alien to become a police officer in Illinois. That is exactly why I introduced the Stop Illegal Alien Cops Act: to close this loophole and ensure those entrusted with enforcing our laws are here legally.”
Mary Miller has represented Illinois’ 15th District since replacing John Shimkus in 2021 and resides in Oakland after being born in Oak Park in 1959. She holds a BA from Eastern Illinois University. In previous elections, she won against Paul Lange in 2022 with over 71% of the vote and Erika Weaver in 2020 with more than 73% support.
