Rep. Mary Miller, a U.S. Congresswoman representing Illinois’ 15th district, posted a series of statements on her official X account on March 15 and 16, 2026, focusing on federal elections and the role of Congress.
On March 15, Miller shared a religious message, quoting scripture: “For the Lord is good; His steadfast love endures forever, and His faithfulness to all generations.” – Psalm 100:5.
Later that day, she addressed election integrity concerns: “Congress has a constitutional duty to protect our federal elections. Every illegal vote represents a vote stolen from an American citizen. We must not allow the radical left to silence the voices of the American people in our republic.”
On March 16, Miller called for Senate Democrats to clarify their stance on election security: “It’s time to force Senate Democrats to go on the record and explain why they refuse to secure our elections. The American people will see just how out of touch and corrupt they really are.”
Miller has served in Congress since 2021 after replacing John Shimkus as representative for Illinois’s 15th District. She was born in Oak Park, Illinois in 1959 and currently resides in Oakland. Miller holds a BA from Eastern Illinois University. In previous general elections, she won against Paul Lange in 2022 with over 71% of the vote and Erika Weaver in 2020 with more than 73% support.
