The median commercial property tax rate in Mahomet stood at 1.7% for fiscal year 2025, ranking as the fifth-lowest among cities in Champaign County, according to BlockShopper.com.

Champaign County’s median for the same period was 2.1%, placing Mahomet 0.4 percentage points below this benchmark.
