Cross Construction is set to start work on the intersection of Columbia Avenue and Wright Street beginning Wednesday, August 27. The project involves a full reconstruction of the intersection, which will require its closure for the duration of the work.
According to city officials, the construction is expected to be finished by Wednesday, September 10, 2025, depending on weather conditions. The closure is part of the city’s annual paving project aimed at maintaining local infrastructure.
“Starting Wednesday, August 27, Cross Construction will begin reconstruction of the intersection of Columbia Avenue and Wright Street. The intersection will be closed during reconstruction. This project is scheduled to be completed on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, weather permitting.”
Residents are advised to plan alternate routes while construction is underway.
