Illinois American Water and Shaw Brothers have announced the temporary closure of the westbound lane on Green Street, located between Elm Street and Prairie Street. This closure is necessary to complete pavement patching work in the area. The closure will start on Thursday, June 26, and is scheduled to end on Monday, June 30, 2025.

During this period, traffic flow will be maintained with one lane open for westbound traffic and one lane for eastbound traffic.

The work aims to improve road conditions along this section of Green Street. Local residents and commuters are advised to plan their routes accordingly during this time.
