Portions of Green Street between Prospect Avenue and State Street in Champaign will be intermittently closed for asphalt patching. The Public Works Department has scheduled the closures to start on Monday, August 4, with plans to reopen the street by Friday, August 8, 2025, if weather allows.
During this period, both eastbound and westbound traffic on Green Street will be detoured. The department aims to complete the work within the specified timeframe but notes that weather conditions could affect progress.
