The City of Champaign announced on March 26 that a section of Fox Drive will be closed temporarily from March 30 at 7 a.m. until April 3, as part of the ongoing Concrete Patching Project.

This closure will affect the stretch of Fox Drive from 1902 Fox Drive to just north of Devonshire Drive. The work is being carried out by A&A Concrete and is dependent on weather conditions.

The city said the closure is necessary to allow pavement patching in this area. The project aims to improve road conditions and ensure safety for motorists once completed.

No additional background information or detour routes were provided in the announcement. Residents and commuters are advised to plan accordingly during the closure period.

Further updates may be provided if weather impacts the scheduled completion date.
