Staff from the Neighborhood Services Department of the City of Champaign participated in the Illinois Housing Council Affordable Housing Forum, which attracted around 825 housing professionals from across Illinois. The forum gathered developers, consultants, nonprofit organizations, lenders, and public agencies to discuss ways to increase affordable housing and respond to rising demand.

During the event, city staff engaged with affordable housing developers and consultants to exchange information about local housing needs in Champaign and consider future collaboration opportunities.
