On June 21, 2025, the Ashland Park Homeowners Association (HOA) organized a neighborhood cleanup event. The initiative aimed to remove litter and debris from the commons area located at Sharp Drive and Luria Lane. Volunteers from the neighborhood collected nine bags of trash during the event.

The Neighborhood Services Department supported the effort by providing litter sticks, buckets, and gloves for participants. The HOA has announced plans to host several more cleanup events throughout the summer to tackle litter and debris in other parts of the neighborhood.

Additionally, registered neighborhood groups can apply for small grant funds to help cover costs associated with these cleanup efforts.
