Champaign City Council issued the following announcement on June 25.
In order to perform crane operations at 615 S. Wright Street, Broeren Russo Builders, Inc. will intermittently close the southbound lane of Wright Street between Green Street and Healey Street. The lane closure will begin on Wednesday, June 27 and is expected to reopen on Thursday, June 28.
During the intermittent lane closure, southbound traffic will be controlled by flaggers. Minor traffic delays may occur. The City appreciates the cooperation of travelers in the area and encourages caution when traveling through work zones.
