Village of Tolono Board of Trustees met Feb. 15.

Here is the minutes provided by the Board:

The meeting was called to order at 6:05 p.m. Present were President Jeff Holt, Trustee Mike Golish, Trustee Jacquie Miller, Trustee Anna Morris, Trustee Rob Murphy, and Trustee Terrence Stuber. Absent were Trustee Ryan Perry and Clerk Dixie Phillips. Trustee Terrence Stuber took notes for the minutes.

The Trustees and public joined in the Pledge of Allegiance.

There were no comments from the public.

Trustee Stuber motioned to enter into Executive Session for the limited purposes of discussing the hiring, performance, compensation and/or employment of one or more Village employees; to conduct Police Department job interviews; and to discuss other specific employee-related matters.

Trustee Stuber requested to include Police Chief Richard Raney and Officer Justin Kitts for the police interview portion of the Executive Session. Trustee Miller seconded the motion. There was a roll call vote:

Trustee Golish - Aye Trustee Miller - Aye Trustee Morris - Aye

Trustee Murphy - Aye Trustee Stuber – Aye

The motion carried. The Board entered into Executive Session at 6:08 p.m.

At the conclusion of the Executive Session, a motion was made by Trustee Golish to return to open session. Trustee Murphy seconded the motion. There was a roll call vote:

Trustee Golish - Aye Trustee Miller - Aye Trustee Morris - Aye

Trustee Murphy - Aye Trustee Stuber – Aye and the motion carried. The Board returned to Open Session at 9:19 p.m.

There was a motion by Trustee Golish to adjourn with a second by Trustee Stuber. The motion carried and the meeting adjourned at 9:20 p.m.
