The city of Urbana Firemen's Pension Board will meet at 9:30 a.m. Friday to review the policies for pension recipient physicals.
"The Firemen's Pension Fund Board manages the Firemen's Pension Fund as prescribed under Chapter 5, Section 4 of the Statutes of the State of Illinois. Major activities include awarding of pensions and investing funds until needed to make pension payments. Members are elected from active and retired firefighters and two positions are appointed by the Mayor."
