The Champaign County Board Facilities Committee will meet at the juvenile detention center at 400 Art Bartell Road in Urbana tonight for a brief tour before continuing with its regular meeting.
The tour is part of a series of visits to local facilities the committee has planned. The group will also tour the coroner’s office, election supply storage, and the physical plant in advance of its April 5 meeting.
At Tuesdays' regular meeting, the group is expected to approve a bid and work schedule for roof replacement on Brookens Pod No. 200 and hear an update on the county's capital asset projects for this year.
The regular meeting is scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m. in the Lyle Shields Meeting Room of the Brookens Administrative Center.
The Brookens Administrative Center is at 1776 E. Washington St. in Urbana.
