The Urbana City Council approved a number of budget amendments at its Dec 14 meeting.
The city will receive an additional $4,410 in revenue in fees from its new alcoholic beverage server training, and an added $19,656 in expenditures, primarily through increased fire and police dispatch fees and library franchise fees.
The revised budget amounts will contribute to an approximately $1 million surplus.
