The Mahomet Area Chamber of Commerce (MACC) invites its members and guests to its annual banquet Jan. 25 from 6-8 p.m. at the Middletown Prairie Elementary School, 1301 S. Bulldog Drive.
The annual banquet benefits the MACC Scholarship Fund for Mahomet Seymour High School students. Tickets are $20 per person.
The evening will begins with the social, followed by dinner at 6:30 p.m. Awards will be presented at 7 p.m., including the business of the year award. In addition, the annual Cornbelt Fire Dept. and Seymour Fire Dept. “Fireman of the Year” will be recognized. The dessert auction commences at 7:15 p.m., and the evening finale, the comedy show, begins at 7:45 p.m.
